As a nutritional therapist, I use a holistic approach to your health with an in-depth understanding of the biochemical and physiological processes of the body. I look at the 'root cause' of your health symptoms and use the latest in evidence based research to underpin my nutritional therapy programmes. This allows me to really understand the underlying reasons which contribute to your symptoms and health concerns and help support you towards achieving good health and maintaining it.
It takes many years for your health to decline, with many habits that led to ill health. So you need time to allow your body to recover and heal. Working with me, my aim is to help improve your health, address your symptoms, so you regain control of your health, your energy and feel great again.
My journey in nutrition began after the birth of my second child and then the death of my mother from ovarian cancer. The fear of developing heart disease and cancer was very real for me and I was concerned for genetic aspects and future health of my family. So began the long and tough journey to find out more. Among many things I learned that carrying weight around the middle (even if you look relatively slim otherwise), is a hidden health concern. I realised that food and the promotion of natural healing are vital tools to address health issues, and ultimately give you the best chance to remain healthy into old age. Nutrition is also a wonderful tool to safely compliment the benefits of modern medicine.
